χρώμα: ο τρόπος με τον οποίο οι φωτοϋποδοχείς του ανθρώπινου ματιού
κωδικοποιούν τα μήκη κύματος του φωτός, τα οποία μεταφράζει στη συνέχεια ο εγκέφαλος.


Η σημασία του κάθε χρώματος απόλυτα υποκειμενική, ανάλογα με τις κοινωνικές συνθήκες
και το σημαινόμενο, του κάθε χρώματος, ως αυτό αυθαίρετα έχει προκαθοριστεί.
Κάποιες όμως χρωματικές επιρροές είναι αντανακλαστικές και ως εκ τούτου οικουμενικές.
Διότι, το χρώμα ως ένα ισχυρό μέσο της μη λεκτικής επικοινωνίας,
καταφέρνει να αντιπροσωπεύει, ή ακόμα και να προκαλεί, έντονα συναισθήματα.

Κόκκινο: Η τεχνική του αρχικά θεώρηση αποκαλύπτει ότι είναι ένα εκ των βασικών (πρωτογενών) χρωμάτων, βάση δηλαδή για κάποια εκ των δευτερογενών χρωμάτων και παράλληλα κατέχει το μεγαλύτερο εύρος περιοχής μήκων κύματος (nm).
Παράλληλα, η επιστήμη της ψυχολογίας του χρώματος, μας διαφωτίζει σχετικά με το κόκκινο, ότι προκαλεί αύξηση σφυγμών, κάνει τα αντικείμενα να φαίνονται πιο κοντά σε εμάς και αντιπροσωπεύει την κίνηση, τη δύναμη, τη ζωή, την αγάπη, το πάθος·
χωρίς αυτό να σημαίνει ότι ταυτόχρονα ο εγκέφαλος μας υποσυνείδητα δεν το προσλαμβάνει ως κίνδυνο, αίμα, επιθετικότητα, τα οποία μεταφράζει σε επιφυλακτικότητα, εγρήγορση, αγωνία, θυμό. 



Το κατωτέρω πόνημα αποτελεί ηχητική αποτύπωση των ανωτέρω,
σε ήχους, σε μελωδίες, σε στίχους· σε ένα βασικό, πρωτογενές συναίσθημα.
